Chess Club
The mission of Lake County Chess Club is to use the game of chess as an educational tool to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for individuals of all ages in Lake County, Illinois. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to promoting chess as a means of improving academic performance and developing life skills that benefit learners both inside and outside of the classroom. We aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students can learn and practice chess in a structured and engaging way, regardless of their socioeconomic background or ability level. Through organized chess events, tournaments, and educational programs, we seek to empower learners to develop their full potential and achieve success in their academic and personal pursuits.
